Microsoft has released Windows Server 2016 Technical Preview 5 and it is available for free download. Check out the new features here: https://goo.gl/0CJwWA. Download the ISO file or VHD file here: https://goo.gl/h17Irf. This brings us one step closer to the final release of Windows Server 2016, expected in Q3 of 2016. Speculation is that the product will be announced and released at the next Ignite Conference at the end of September (https://goo.gl/NMnHtk) but it could be as early as July.
I have been steadily collecting information about what is new and changed in Windows Server 2016 as I expect to begin writing new books this summer.
